2012 Tinta Cão - "The Philosopher's Companion"

I fell in love with Portuguese grapes made into dry red while in Australia. I was even more thrilled to find them grown here in Washington and I knew that I had to make my own. Stunningly different, amazing structure and a myriad of flavors. A conversation wine for sure. Two and a half barrels produced.
